Carolina is a founder and director of the GAP Unit. She has been involved in, and co-ordinated, research and development programmes in poverty reduction through community participation. She works as a consultant, researcher and trainer for several national and international education and development NGOs on local democracy, participatory research and education, evaluation and impact assessments, capacity building, development, women’s empowerment, and gender.
