GEM Project transport report
NHS NW workforce strategy gender review
We aim to increase gender knowledge, generate new data on gender issues and identify gender gaps so local communities, voluntary organisations, service deliverers and policy makers understand the magnitude of the gender problems studied and generate appropriate strategies to tackle them.
We carry out participatory gender audits of organisations and programmes aiming to promote gender equitable practice within organisations, and gender impact assessments looking at the effect of policies, programmes and service provision on women and men.
We use a variety of participatory research methods. We encourage and support people and organisations to carry out action-oriented research on gender-related issues that will have a concrete impact on their policies and practice, building the capacity of organisations to integrate a gender dimension into programmes and service delivery
